Abstract

This article introduces the reader to some methodological aspects of an experiment using HPLC-MS/MS with the registration of selective transitions in the targeted proteomics. Special attention is paid to the selection criterion of a peptide used as a surrogate analyte of the protein to be determined. The approaches to the selection of selective transitions for the selective detection of peptides are described in detail.
