Abstract

Analysis of published data indicates that Ras-protein and kinases PI3K, Akt, MEK1/2, ERK1/2, PKC, CaMKII are involved in the signaling mechanism of ischemic preconditioning. In addition, it is established that cyclooxigenase-2, NO-synthase and mitKATP-channel are involved in delayed preconditioning. Signaling mechanism of early ischemic preconditioning of brain is remained unstudied.
