Abstract

The article informs about the 9th International Congress of the International Society for Pathophysiology (ISP2023), which took place in Belgrade (Serbia) from July 4 to 6, 2023. It describes the main trends and the most promising areas of research in current Pathophysiology, including the investigations of new pathogenetic pathways, identification of cellular and molecular mechanisms, target molecules, genetic mechanisms, and new therapeutic strategies. Also the article concerns the research performed by leading scientific teams and national pathophysiological societies of some countries for understanding of the pathogenesis of diseases and pathological processes.
