The brain, i.e., thinking, controls the muscle activity and all kinds of body movements. Constant and sufficient motor and cognitive (movement-related and -unrelated) activity is a prerequisite for maintaining physical (motor) and cognitive health. Thus, for a person, in order to move successfully and think rationally, both types of activity should be combined throughout life at a high, but not destructive level, with an obligatory consideration of age-related changes in cognition and motor skills. The more harmonious the combination is, the more successful the body will be in terms of the quality of life and life expectancy.Downloads
